As part of the professional orientation and expansion of practical knowledge of students in the "Tourism" educational programme at Esil University, a meeting was held with representatives of the international recruitment company JobTürkiye Human Resources. The event was conducted with the participation of the company's manager, who provided a detailed overview of employment opportunities in the Turkish tourism industry, the specifics of the season, and the working conditions at the country's leading hotel complexes.
The seminar was organised by Candidate of Economic Sciences, Acting Associate Professor Bayandanov A.M. and PhD, Associate Professor Sadykova R.K., who actively support the development of practice-oriented education and contribute to broadening the professional horizons of students.
The meeting was attended by second-year students of the Tourism educational programme, who were presented with current vacancies in the hospitality sector, employer requirements, stages of employment, accommodation and catering conditions, and safety measures when working abroad. A company representative also shared personal experience of working in Turkey and answered students' questions in detail.
Students highlighted the high informational value of the seminar, the practical utility of the materials presented, and the company's interest in preparing qualified seasonal employees. Such events constitute an important component of the training of future specialists in the tourism sector, enabling them to orient themselves in the international labour market in advance and to gain knowledge from a real professional environment.
Esil University will continue to develop cooperation with employers and expand the range of practical opportunities for students of the Tourism educational programme.
