A Seminar by Senior Lecturer M.A. Muslimbekova of the Department of Social Work and Tourism on ‘Human Resource Management in Tourism’

On 17 April 2024, Senior Lecturer of the "Social Work and Tourism" Department, Muslimbekova M.A., conducted a seminar on the topic "Personnel Management in the Tourism Sector." The seminar was attended by faculty members of the department and second-year students of the "Tourism" educational programme.

Seminar Objective: To familiarise participants with the specifics of personnel management in the tourism sector, and to examine the key aspects related to the recruitment, motivation, and development of staff in tourism organisations.

Main topics discussed during the seminar:

During the seminar, interactive exercises and group discussions were conducted, enabling faculty and students to actively participate in the learning process and apply the knowledge they had acquired in practice.

Based on the Results of the Seminar participants expressed interest in further studying issues of human resource management in the tourism sector and noted the high practical value of the topics discussed.
