Improving Financial Literacy: A Meeting Featuring a Mazhilis Deputy

Within the framework of the Department of Management Week, a panel session was held on the theme "A Debt-Free Society as the Foundation of a Stable Republic: The Role of Effective Governance." The objective of the event was to enhance the financial literacy of the population, reduce citizens' dependence on borrowed funds, and discuss the role of state policy and effective governance in building a sustainable society.

The honorary guest and keynote speaker of the session was Daulet Mukayev, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and public figure. In his address, he focused on legislative initiatives aimed at developing citizens' financial literacy and ensuring social stability, emphasising the importance of responsible governance at both the state and individual levels.

During the event, participants discussed topical issues of improving financial literacy, the social impact of the concept "A Society Free of Debt," as well as the role of effective management and education in fostering financial responsibility among young people. In addition, ways of strengthening cooperation between the public and private sectors and implementing joint social and educational projects were examined.

The panel session took place in an open discussion format and included presentations, a question-and-answer session, and brief student presentations. Based on the outcomes of the discussion, proposals were developed and a final resolution was adopted, aimed at promoting financial literacy among the population and fostering a culture of responsible governance.

At the conclusion of the event, the organizers expressed their gratitude to all participants for their active engagement and constructive proposals.
