An Open Class at the Department of Accounting and Auditing: Discussing Accounting in Sectors of the Economy

As part of the Accounting and Audit Department Week, an open class on the subject "Accounting in Sectors of the Economy" was conducted by Master's degree holder and Senior Lecturer of the Department, I.N. Mikhailina.

The event was attended by the teaching staff of the department and students of groups B-iA 20/1R and 21/23R. Students delivered a presentation, expressing their views on the issue at hand.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the fundamental principles underpinning the professional judgement of an accountant were presented. Disregarding these principles may lead to unreliability in financial reporting.

The event enabled students to discuss current issues in accounting and to develop professional analytical skills in this field.
