On September 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., the solemn opening of the "Tourism" educational program week was held in the foyer of Esil University. The opening marked the beginning of a week-long series of educational and cultural events dedicated to the development of tourism and the training of future specialists in this field. Welcoming remarks were delivered by Vice-Rector for Strategy and Digitalization Shuiytenov G.Zh., Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences Mukhamejanova A.A., and Head of the Department of "Social Work and Tourism," PhD, Associate Professor Sadykov Zh.A., who emphasized the importance of the program in training professionals amid the rapidly evolving tourism industry.
Students and faculty members of the Department of Social Work and Tourism organised a vibrant flash mob that lent a festive atmosphere to the event. This was followed by a master class delivered by Associate Professor Bayandanova Almas Muzatovna on the topic "The Role of Service Culture in Tourism and Hospitality," at which participants became acquainted with the key aspects of quality service and its impact on success in the tourism sector.
