An Educational Training on ‘Comprehensive Sexuality Education’

A two-day educational training organized by the Kazakhstan Association for Sexual and Reproductive Health for students of the "Social Work" educational programme has commenced. Students of the 1st, 2nd, and 4th years participated in the training, demonstrating high interest in the announced topics.

The trainers were Yevgeniy Vlasov and Meruert Kilybayeva — experienced specialists in the field of sexual and reproductive health, who not only presented theoretical materials but also shared practical cases from their professional experience. On the first day of the training, the following modules were examined in detail:

Насилие — Main Types and Forms of Violence — Gender-Based Violence — Sexual coercion and methods of its prevention — Algorithms for Responding to Cases of Violence

Reproductive Health — Anatomy of the Reproductive System — Puberty Processes — Fertility and reproductive characteristics

The first day of the training was conducted with maximum intensity, informativeness, and dynamism. Students actively engaged in discussions, completed practical assignments, and asked in-depth and meaningful questions. This format enabled participants not only to acquire new information but also to broaden their professional perspective — a factor of paramount importance for future specialists in the social sector.
