A Curator Session on Academic Integrity Was Held at the Department of Finance

PhD, старший преподаватель кафедры «Финансы» Esil University Н.А. Алашбаева провела кураторский час для студентов 4 курса групп Б-Қаржы 22/1 Қ и Б-Қаржы 23/23 Қ на тему «Академическая добросовестность».

The objective of the session was to foster students' understanding of the principles of honesty, responsibility, and ethical standards in the academic process, and to clarify the university's regulations, types of academic violations, and their consequences. Students also familiarized themselves with proper citation practices, source formatting, and the fundamentals of research ethics.

As a result of the class, students consolidated their knowledge of the key principles of academic integrity, learned to distinguish between types of plagiarism, cite sources correctly, and complete academic assignments without violations.

As the lecturer noted, systematic work throughout the academic year contributes to strengthening the culture of academic integrity at the university, forming a responsible and ethical student community, and improving the quality of academic and scholarly work.
