A Guest Lecture Was Held at the Department of Management

Within the framework of the Department of Management Week, a guest lecture was delivered by a Master of Economics and Head of the Department of Subsoil Use Management of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on the discipline "Crisis Management," on the topic "Certain Features of the Civil Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Present Stage" for third-year students of the Public Administration and Management educational programs. The lecture was held in a dialogue-discussion format. The event was attended by Dean of the Faculty of Business and Management Alina G.B., faculty of the Department of Management, and students of the educational programs in Public and Municipal Administration and Management.

The state, as a special organization of public political power, has its own tasks and functions. These tasks and functions are implemented through specific actions of the personnel serving the state — civil servants.

It should be noted that the practice of state-building in the Republic of Kazakhstan poses a number of new challenges in the establishment and formation of a new civil service system. Legislation on civil service has been virtually entirely renewed, and a new system for the selection and placement of personnel in the civil service sphere is being formed.

The guest lecture was conducted at a highly professional level. Thanks to the lecturer, students were able to obtain information on the civil service of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
