A vibrant and significant book fair, Book Fest, was held at Esil University to mark the 85th anniversary of the great Kazakhstani writer Abish Kekilbauly. The event brought together students, faculty, and staff of the university, creating a festive atmosphere for all lovers of literature and culture. The fair featured not only the works of Abish Kekilbauly but also a diverse selection of books by Kazakhstani and international authors.
The fair was attended by well-known publishing houses, such as Фолиант , Қасым , Мүфтият , Family Reader , Мазмұндама , Кітапхадия и Кітапал, Пайдалы кітаптар , who brought a rich collection of literature to suit every taste. In addition to books, the fair offered visitors the opportunity to view and purchase national jewellery as well as original notebooks reflecting Kazakh traditions and culture.
