Esil University Departments Discussed the Prospects of Digitalization

The Departments of Finance and Accounting and Auditing held a section meeting on the topic "Digitalization of the Financial and Banking Sector, Accounting, Auditing, and Statistics: Challenges and Prospects." The meeting took place within the framework of the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Seitkasimov Readings – 2025," dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor Gabdygapar Seitkasimov.

Reports on the digital transformation of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan and measures to reduce inflation were delivered by representatives of the National Bank of Kazakhstan: Ishchanova Ruslana Kuanyshevna, Deputy Director of the Central Branch of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, PhD; Omarova Elnura Tolepbergenovna, Chief Specialist–Economist of the Cash and Banking Operations Department; and Pulatova Dana Nurlysheqna, Chief Specialist–Economist of the Economic Analysis and Statistics Department.

Kaliyev Zhunusbek Arturovich, lawyer and tax consultant at the Educational and Methodological Centre of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, presented on the features of the minimum global tax in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The keynote speaker was Dr. Zagira Duisenbaevna Iskakova, Doctor of Economics and Professor of the Finance Department at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, who presented on the topic: "Key Factors for the Safe Use of Digitalization Tools in Kazakhstan's Financial Sector."

Within the framework of the event, discussions of the presentations were held, and recommendations were made on the issues of digitalisation of the financial and banking sector, accounting, audit, and statistics.
