The Department of Accounting and Audit held a meeting with employer Rustam Muratovich Bashikov, Director of IQ AUDIT LLP. Third-year students of the Accounting and Audit programme were in attendance.
The event was organised by Candidate of Economic Sciences Bekzhanova Toty Kolzhanovna and Senior Lecturer Mikhailina Irina Nikolayevna.
During the meeting, current issues of audit in relation to the sectoral affiliation of enterprises, employer requirements for graduates, and opportunities for further cooperation in the field of training qualified specialists were discussed and reviewed.
Bashivov R.M. shared his experience, presented interesting examples of audit procedures, and identified key requirements for audit service specialists.
The lecturer outlined the principal employment criteria for graduates. Additionally, relevant digital tools and the necessity of studying International Financial Reporting Standards were identified.
The meeting was also attended by faculty members of the department: PhD, Associate Professor Altynbekov M.A., PhD, Senior Lecturer Aitkhozhinа A.E., PhD, Senior Lecturer Uspambayeva M.K., and Master's degree holder, Lecturer Oralbekova Zh.K. Following the meeting, students received an invitation to complete their industrial internship at IQ AUDIT LLP.
