Guest Lecture ‘The Accountant of the Future: A Person Who Understands Numbers Deeper Than Artificial Intelligence’

During the lecture, Galiya Nuri noted that the development of artificial intelligence and digital technologies is actively transforming the field of accounting. However, she emphasized that it is precisely the human professional who remains the key link in financial analysis and decision-making. Only a specialist is capable of understanding the meaning behind figures at a deeper level than artificial intelligence — perceiving within them the real economic processes, risks, and opportunities for business.

The speaker emphasised that it is important for the modern accountant not only to master automation and data analysis technologies but also to develop critical thinking, strategic vision, and the ability to make responsible decisions. These qualities, according to Galiya Nuri, will enable specialists to remain in demand even in the era of digitalisation and artificial intelligence.

The meeting was organized by Senior Lecturer of the Department Aitkhozhina Aliya Yeleuissizovna.

The event was attended by faculty members and graduating-year students of the specialities "Accounting and Audit" and "Statistics."

The following faculty members of the department were present at the event: Doctor of Economics, Acting Professor Shayakhmetova K.O.; PhD, Senior Lecturer Aitkhozhin A.E.; PhD, Acting Associate Professor Uspambayeva M.K.; Master's degree holder, Senior Lecturer Mikhaylina I.N.; Lecturer Arkhat A.; PhD, Assistant Professor Altynbekov M.A.; and Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Aitkhozhin L.Zh.
