On 20 September 2024 at 15:00, a guest lecture on the topic of "Technologies in the Tourism Industry" was held in the assembly hall of Esil University. The lecture was delivered by Doctor Rab Nawaz Lodhi , Associate Professor and Research Fellow at the University of South Florida (USA) and the University of the Punjab (Lahore, Pakistan).
During the presentation, Professor Lodhi highlighted current trends in research within the tourism industry, with particular emphasis on the adoption of information technologies. He noted that innovations such as artificial intelligence and big data are being actively employed in contemporary tourism, enabling improvements in customer service and the optimisation of business processes.
