A Guest Lecture for Finance Program Students Was Held at Esil University

The Department of Finance organized a guest lecture by Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor of the Department of Finance at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Zagira Duysembayevna Iskakova, on the topic: "Current Issues of the Banking Sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan." The event was held for 2nd and 3rd year students of the "Finance" educational program.

During the meeting, Professor Iskakova addressed the key issues of the development of second-tier banks in Kazakhstan and paid particular attention to the updating of banking legislation. The lecturer examined in detail the proposed amendments to the Law "On Banks and Banking Activities" and identified the problematic aspects requiring resolution upon the adoption of the new regulatory act.

Students were given the opportunity to study the current positions of specialists, discuss the proposed innovations, and exchange views on the most important issues in the banking sector.

The lecture generated keen interest among attendees and became an important step in deepening students' professional knowledge, directing them towards the analysis of current issues in the financial sector and the development of essential competencies.
