At the Department of "Finance," a guest lecture on the discipline "Conceptual Foundations of Financial Science" was held for the Master's programme in "Finance".
A lecture on the topic "Conceptual Foundations of the Organisation and Management of the Budgetary System" was delivered by Candidate of Economic Sciences T.B. Birmagambetov (Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University). Talgat Baltabayevich is a leading specialist with many years of experience in the field of the financial and budgetary system.
The lecture examined key aspects of the organisation and management of the budgetary system of Kazakhstan and select leading foreign countries. Special attention was devoted to the conceptual framework of organisation and to the levels of the budgetary system.
The lecture was conducted in a dialogue-and-discussion format and was accompanied by a presentation and illustrative examples, which enabled graduate students to gain a deeper understanding of the conceptual framework for the organization and management of Kazakhstan's budget system. For first-year master's students of the "Finance" educational programme, this represented a valuable opportunity to familiarize themselves with real-world practice and the existing models of budget system management.
