A Cluster Meeting was held at Esil University dedicated to discussing the impact of Erasmus+ projects on the development of higher education in the fields of environmental protection and natural resource management.
The event was organized by the National Erasmus+ Office in Kazakhstan with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency.
The meeting was attended by project coordinators from HEPV, Jean Monnet, Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters, and Erasmus Mundus Design Measure programmes, as well as university representatives, researchers, and experts. The event was opened with a welcoming address by Dametkен Turekulova, Vice-Rector for Research and Internationalisation at Esil University.
В ходе встречи участникам представили результаты ключевых экологических и образовательных проектов Erasmus+. Лаура Палуанова рассказала о реализации инициатив программы Erasmus+ в Казахстане. Ұлан Бекіш представил опыт проекта ESGCA, направленного на развитие эффективного управления в сфере экологии и занятости. Гульмира Сатыбалдиева поделилась результатами проекта UnWaste, в рамках которого разработана магистерская программа по управлению отходами. Эльмира Орынбасарова представила итоги проекта EMINREM, посвящённого экодобыче и инновационному управлению ресурсами.
In the second half of the event, Zhanar Shortanbayeva presented the LESLIE project, focused on land resource management and the interaction between education and business. Irina Bogdashkina introduced the SAGRIS project, aimed at developing doctoral programmes in the field of sustainable agriculture. Dinara Zhaksynbek presented the GDCAU project, which promotes green approaches in Central Asian universities. The series of presentations was concluded by Laura Khassenova, who presented the results of the GreenCA project dedicated to the greening of water education.
The presentations were accompanied by question-and-answer sessions, during which participants discussed the prospects for expanding cooperation and introducing successful practices into the educational programmes of Kazakhstani universities.
