The Faculty of Applied Sciences at Esil University hosted a quiz entitled "Currency in Different Countries," dedicated to the Day of the National Currency of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was organized by Senior Lecturers of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines: G.E. Musakanova, B.I. Kudaibergenova, E.M. Nurakhanova, and K.Zh. Otyzbayeva.

As part of the event, participants were shown a historical video about the establishment of the tenge and the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan introducing the national currency. Students also familiarised themselves with the currencies of various countries before taking part in an interactive quiz.
Students actively answered questions, demonstrating their knowledge and interest in the topic, while also developing skills in listening comprehension, communication, and financial literacy.
Following the event, the most active participants received diplomas and incentive prizes. The quiz took place in an enriching and educational atmosphere, contributing to the broadening of horizons and the strengthening of interest in the study of the English language and financial literacy.
