A Research Seminar on Statistical Data Analysis Was Held at Esil University

Для студентов групп Б-УиА 24/1Р, Б-УиА 25/23Р и Б-ЕжА 24/1Қ состоялся научный семинар «Что говорят простые числа…?», организованный доцентом кафедры «Учёт и аудит» Д.А. Гали.

During the seminar, methods for analyzing and interpreting statistical data were examined, along with issues of their application in managerial decision-making, as well as ways to identify manipulations and "sensational statistics." Special attention was devoted to the influence of graphs and charts on the perception of information: figures, like chameleons in business attire, can alter impressions depending on how they are presented.

The practical component involved working with real statistical data, analyzing indicator dynamics, and identifying structural changes. Participants completed analytical assignments and developed skills in critically evaluating information and formulating evidence-based conclusions for managerial decision-making.
