A Polish-Kazakh Research Center Opened at Esil University

The opening of the Polish-Kazakhstani Research Centre "Sustainable Development and Innovative Economy" took place at Esil University.

A delegation from Poland, led by Professor Stanislaw Luniewski — General Director of ASTWA LLP, Honorary Consul of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Professor at the Eastern European University of Applied Sciences in Białystok — visited, together with the Esil University administration, the classroom where the new centre will be located. In recognition of his contribution, the classroom was named after Professor Luniewski. He was also ceremonially conferred the title of Honorary Professor of Esil University.

On the Polish side, Richard Ivashkevich — Director of Hotel KARMEL (Augustów, Poland) — also participated in the event. On behalf of Esil University, the ceremony was attended by the Rector of the university, Doctor of Economics Ayapbergen Taubayev, Vice-Rectors, heads of structural divisions, and the faculty. Following a tour of the facilities, the official signing of a memorandum of cooperation between Esil University and Polish partners took place.

"The creation of the centre is not merely a joint project. It is an important step in strengthening scientific and educational cooperation between Kazakhstan and Poland. We are confident that it will become a platform for genuine change in the areas of sustainable development, innovation, and the training of a new generation of specialists," noted Esil University Rector Ayapbergen Taubayev.

On the same day, the university received a delegation from Bukhara State University (Republic of Uzbekistan). During a constructive dialogue, a memorandum of cooperation was signed, providing for the implementation of joint educational and scientific projects.

Esil University continues to actively develop international partnerships and expand the horizons of academic collaboration with leading foreign universities.
