В стенах Esil University в рамках реализации масштабного проекта «Закон и порядок» состоялся объединенный кураторский час для студентов групп Б-ҚТ-25/23, Б-ЮрП – 25/23 и Б-ЮрП – 25/22. Встреча была посвящена ключевой теме: «Закон и порядок: воспитание законопослушного и ответственного гражданина».
The keynote speaker of the event was Турарова А.Ж. — Senior Investigator of the Investigation Department of the Department of Economic Investigations for the East Kazakhstan Region, Senior Lieutenant of the Economic Investigations Service, and Master's student at the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the threats that modern youth may face were analysed in detail:
- Drug-related crime and "easy money": legal analysis of the consequences of participation in the distribution of prohibited substances.
- Digital risks: participation in "dropper" schemes and financial fraud.
- Social Challenges: the legal consequences of vaping and the destructive influence of ludomania (gambling addiction).
The group supervisor, Candidate of Legal Sciences and Associate Professor of the Department of Law, Aimаganбетov T.Z. served as the moderator of the meeting and presented a legal analysis of the issues under discussion. He emphasized that for future lawyers, understanding the practical aspects of law enforcement agencies' work is an indispensable condition for professional development.
The event was held in the format of a lively discussion. Students demonstrated high levels of engagement, asking the speaker numerous questions about methods of protecting their financial data, the limits of liability for transferring bank cards to third parties, and the specifics of an investigator's work. The dynamic dialogue enabled future specialists to receive competent answers "first-hand" and to reinforce theoretical knowledge with practical case studies.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was noted that upholding the rule of law is not merely a matter of following the letter of the law, but also a conscious contribution by every individual to building a safe future for the country. Such events contribute not only to the growth of legal literacy but also to the formation of a strong civic stance among the student community.
