As part of the Tourism Educational Programme Week and the 25th anniversary of Esil University, a round table was held on the topic "Current Trends in the Development of Tourism and Hospitality."
The round table was moderated by Sadykov Zhasulan Amangeldyevich, Head of the Department of Social Work and Tourism. Participants in the round table included: Zheksenova Ainur Yersainovna, Head of the Investment Attraction and Tourism Promotion Division of the Tourism Industry Committee, Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who delivered a presentation on the topic "The State and Development of Tourism in Kazakhstan"; Sabitova Madina Kenesarovna, Head of the Agency Relations Department at Touroperator "Kompas" LLP, who in her address highlighted the significance of the work performed by graduates of the Tourism academic programme at Esil University.

Кроме этого на круглом столе выступили Ауезова Зауре Танатаровна к.г.н., профессор кафедры «Социальная работа и туризм» с докладом на тему: «Қазақстанның географиялық жағдайының туризм саласын дамытудағы рөлі».
Bayaldinova Almas Muzatovna, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Social Work and Tourism, presented a paper on the topic: "Tourist and Recreational Potential of the Abai Region: Approaches and Methods for Forming a Tourist Brand."
По итогам встречи, были подписаны меморандумы в целях укрепления и расширения взаимовыгодного сотрудничества в сфере туризма между Esil University и Комитетом индустрии туризма Министерства туризма и спорта Республики Казахстан, ТОО “Touroperator “Kompas, Hilton Astana, АО «НК «Kazakh Tourism», ТОО "Food Solutions KZ", ТОО «ӘLEM FOOD».
