As part of the Accountant's Day celebrations, the Department of Accounting and Audit hosted a round table entitled "Topical Issues of Accounting: New Opportunities and Prospects," conducted by Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor A.A. Kazhmukhaметova.
Participants in the round table included the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Management, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Alina G.B., faculty members, students, and master's students of the Educational Programme "Accounting and Audit".
The guests of the event were Shinabekova Asiya Serekkazуevna, Head of the PGS Sales Department of Stroitelnyye Sistemy Astana LLP, and Tuspekova Anel Yermekovna, Chief Accountant of BI Group Holding.
The round table addressed significant issues of financial, managerial, and tax accounting, as well as new opportunities and prospects for the digital transformation of accounting. Guests of the event shared their experience of professional development and provided recommendations to students on the acquisition of practice-oriented competencies and skills.
