The "Accounting and Auditing" department organised a guest lecture with the participation of Bashikov Rustam Muratovich, LLP "IQ AUDIT". The topic of the lecture was "Current Issues in Auditing as Applied to the Sectoral Affiliation of Enterprises".
The event was organized by Candidate of Economic Sciences Bekzhanova Toty Kolzhanovna and Senior Lecturer Mikhaylina Irina Nikolayevna. During the lecture, Bashivov R.M. elaborated in detail on current issues arising in the conduct of audits at enterprises across various industry sectors, and criteria for the successful employment of graduates were identified.
The lecturer also emphasized the necessity of proficiency in international financial reporting standards, digital analytical tools, and strategic thinking methods when conducting audits. During the lecture, students worked through training scenarios in accounting.
The event was attended by faculty members: PhD, Associate Professor M.A. Altynbekov; PhD, Senior Lecturer A.E. Aitkhozina; PhD, Senior Lecturer M.K. Uspambayeva; Master, Lecturer Zh.K. Oralbekova.
