Esil University Students Were Introduced to the Risks of Extremism

As part of efforts to prevent destructive ideologies and develop students' critical thinking, group curator Zambinova Z.B. of the "Economics and Marketing" Department conducted a tutorial hour with a screening of the documentary film "The Road to Nowhere."

The event included a thematic discussion and analysis of materials demonstrating the mechanisms by which young people are drawn into radical movements, real-life stories of individuals who suffered from the activities of extremist organisations, as well as the dangers of manipulation and psychological pressure from destructive groups.

Following the discussion, students noted that terrorism and extremism pose a serious threat, that radical organizations use psychological manipulation and social networks for recruitment, and that critical thinking and civic responsibility help protect oneself.
