Summarizing the First Semester and Discussing Areas of Educational Work with Students of the Faculty of Business and Management

By the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Business and Management A meeting was held with advisor-curators with the participation of the Dean of the Faculty, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Professor Alina Gulzhan Baltabayevna and the Deputy Dean of the Faculty, Master of Economics Konurkulzhinova Togzhan Maratovna the results of Semester 1 were summarized, and further work on student educational activities was also discussed.

The Dean of the Faculty introduced the directions of educational work for the second semester of the academic year, emphasising that mentoring activities are directed at ensuring students' academic discipline, assisting in their adaptation to new social conditions, establishing a cohesive and creative group environment, organising the daily life and leisure of students, introducing democratic principles of governance, developing responsibility and civic maturity, and promoting academic integrity among students.

The Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law acquainted tutors with the Regulations on Tutors of Esil University and the University's Academic Integrity Policy, in accordance with which tutors are required to monitor the implementation of group work plans, coordinate the activities of the group's student council, and serve as the primary link between the academic group and the faculty and university administration. Tutors are required to conduct tutor sessions and familiarise students — including newly transferred and reinstated students — with the university's internal regulations, Charter and organisational structure, Code of Honour, Academic Integrity Policy, and the academic calendar for the 2nd semester of the 2025–2026 academic year.
