The Faculty of the Department of Finance Organised a Scientific Seminar as Part of an Initiative Project The academic staff of the Department of Finance organised a scientific seminar as part of an initiative project on the theme "Trends and Innovations in the Field of Financial and Credit Relations," dedicated to the celebration of National Currency Day. Leading faculty members of the department delivered presentations on topical issues relating to the development of the financial and banking sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Musina A.A., Doctor of Economics, Professor, spoke on "Prospects for the Development of Retail Banking Services"; Yesymkhanova Z.K., Candidate of Economics, Professor, examined new trends of digital transformation in the public finance system of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Toyzhigitova Zh.A., Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor, spoke on "Directions for Improving the Legal and Institutional Mechanisms of the Financial System and Economy of Kazakhstan"; Yesengeldiyeva S.Zh., Master of Economics, reviewed the characteristics of payment system development in Kazakhstan; Dzhumаbekova A.T., Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor, provided clarifications on behavioural supervision as a new stage in the regulation of the banking system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Amiraliev S.S., a first-year Master's student of the "Finance" educational programme, participated in the departmental scientific seminar with the topic: "Trends in the Improvement of Kazakhstan's Fiscal Policy: Current State and Prospects." Together with the faculty members of the Department of Finance, Amiraliev S.S. is actively participating in the preparation of the final report on the initiative project. During the event, presentations were discussed, and recommendations were made regarding the protection of the population's rights in financial markets, the challenges of applying digital technologies in the budgetary system, and the development of the banking sector and payment system. It was decided to incorporate the proposals and recommendations into the final report on the Department of Finance's initiative project.
